About The Organization

About Me

My name is Sofia Nazarian, I'm 16 years old and a junior at Ann Arbor Skyline High School. I enjoy traveling, reading, baking, and trying new activities. I'm passionate about leadership and giving back, which led me to start a thrift shop fundraiser for Save the Children. As the youngest of three sisters, family is important to me, and my parents are my biggest role models. I value resilience, kindness, and ambition, and I strive to make a difference by staying involved, helping others, and always seeking new opportunities to grow.

About Skyline Thrift

The Skyline Thrift is a Skyline-based organization dedicated to supporting displaced students and children. We're raising money by collecting pre-owned clothing donations from the community, and selling them through the Skyline school store. All proceeds from the store are donated to Save the Children, an organization that works to improve the lives of children around the world.

About Donations

To prevent any items from going to waste, all donated items that aren't sold will be donated to shelters and refugee support groups in the Ann Arbor area. No matter what, all items from the thrift will be repurposed for someone to love.
